District Executive

Concho Valley District

Stacy McGuire

Stacy began her Scouting career as a Girl Scout in 1980 where she enjoyed canoeing, junior lifeguarding, and backpacking. As a youth she served on her Council’s Outdoor Operating Committee, was an assistant Troop Leader, and earned her Silver Award. After graduating from Angelo State University with a BA in Government, she served in several adult leadership positions for her three daughters’ troops and then stepped into the professional side and worked with Girl Scouts for a decade. During this time, she began her volunteer journey with Scouting America in 2010 as her son started his own Scouting career. Helping at the Pack led to training outdoor skills for the District, Wood Badge fun, trekking around Philmont, and eventually the Advisor of Venturing Crew #332. She started her professional Scouting America service in 2020 as a District Associate and looks forward to expanding her role in providing support to our volunteers and communities.

Stacy has three grown daughters and one son in Venturing. She enjoys camping and reading. Contact Stacy for any questions concerning membership!
