  • October 6-8- Fall Cub Camp- Camp Sol Mayer in Fort McKavett, TX
    • Cub Scouts and their families will get the chance to go camping at Camp Sol Mayer. On Saturday, there will be various activities for Scouts, their siblings, and their parents to participate in. These activities will include shooting sports, games, crafts, meals in the dining hall,  campfire, and opening and closing flag ceremonies. This may be the first time many of these families go camping.
  • October 13-15- Webelos Woods- Baden Powell Park in San Angelo
    • Webelos and their Den Leaders will camp out with various Boy Scout troops to learn about what it’s like to be a Boy Scout and possibly find the troop they will transition to when they complete the Cub Scout program. Boy Scouts will be teaching the cubs skills that are fun but also helpful. Skills could include canoeing, knot tying, cooking, gadget building, camp fire building, etc. This year it will be in Camporall fashion with competitions being held between units.
  • October 27-29- Taste of Adventure- Camp Sol Mayer in Fort McKavett, TX
    • Boy Scouts will have the opportunity to camp with their troop at Sol Mayer and participate in various activities that include Climbing and Repelling, shooting sports, water activities, and orienteering. This is a fun weekend full of high adventure.
  • October 29- Popcorn Take Order Ends
    •  All unit orders must be submitted October 30th online.
  • November 10-12 Popcorn Delivery/ Pick-up
    • Mountains of Popcorn are Delivered to the Concho Valley Food Bank for Units and volunteers to sort and pick-up so that the popcorn can be delivered by the Scouts to the people they sold it to during Take-Order Season.
  • November 11- Veteran’s Day Parade- Down town San Angelo
    • Every year all the Scouting units in San Angelo come together to honor Veteran’s by marching in the Veteran’s Day Parade. This also happens in many of the other surrounding communities.
  • December 11- Concho Christmas Light Tour
    •  See our Scouts at the entrance of the popular San Angelo Christmas Light Tour. Friendly scouts will be there to greet and hand out treats to all who have come to see the Christmas light decorations along the Concho River.
  • December 27-29- Winter Camp- Camp Sol Mayer
    • Boy Scouts will come from all over the Council and surrounding areas to earn Merit Badges, camp, and learn new Scouting Skills.
